AS13001 Delegated Product Release Verification (DPRV) Standard, Training and Certification

The SAE International G-22 AESQ Committee developed and published the SAE AS13001™ Delegated Product Release Verification (DPRV) Standard in 2015. Subsequently, the AESQ Strategy Group partnered with SAE Internatioanl's Professional Development group to develop the Common Training for DPRV Personnel Course which satisfies the DPRV Training requirements called out by the SAE AS13001 and AS9117 Standard.

Through AESQ's efforts, DPRV reduced the requirement for multiple OEM training programs for suppliers down to a single course resulting in an estimated $50M in industry cost savings. Since its launch, DPRV has expanded significantly offering classes in 8 languages across 43 countries.

In addition, Probitas Authentication partnered with AESQ to be the independent third party tasked with issuing certificates to DPRV personnel and maintaining each individual's ongoing credentials against the requirements of AS13001. DPRV authenticated personnel can then us the "DPRV Certified" logo provided by Probitas in their email signatures and on business cards to promote their credentials. All authnticated DPRV personnel are invited to join the DPRV Community of Practice on LinkedIn to share and learn.

Free Gap Analysis Checklist: Prepare for December 31, 2022 Compliance Deadline

One of the first tools developed by AESQ to support the aero engine supply chain is Reference Manual RM13009 Compliance Assessment. This free resource provides a structure for companies to begin to identify their current compliance to the new SAE AS13100™ Standard including a 3-Part Self-Assessment Checklist that can be used to document both compliance and any gaps that may need addressed.

Prior to conducting the Self-Assessment, it is highly recommended that a company’s Quality Leaders follow the SAE AS13100™ Requirements Training Course (on-line/ 10 hours) and/or the AESQ Quality Foundations Course to ensure complete understanding of the AS13100 requirements.
