AESQ Documents - Standards

Committed to Quality

AESQ™ standards address problem solving, inspection frequency, measurement systems, PFMEA, and process control.

AESQ Standards

These standards were developed by the G-22 Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality (AESQ) Technical Committee.  The G-22 Committee was formed to develop, specify, maintain, and promote the adoption of quality standards specific to the aerospace engine supply chain.  The objective is to reduce OEM-specific requirements through a focused set of standards that integrate industry best practices and elements unique aerospace engine suppliers.

The aerospace standards in the AS130XX series are intended to be used together and in conjunction with other key industry standards to provide a comprehensive suite of interrelated quality standards.  Given the stringent quality requirements and advanced manufacturing processes and technologies inherent to the complexity and criticality of aerospace engine components, it is essential for organizations to integrate each specific standard into their Quality Management System with a clear understanding of how each relates to other industry standards in order to implement it efficiently and effectively.
