The purpose of the Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) Subject Matter Interest Group is to promote the effective deployment of Reference Manual RM13003 throughout the supply chain.

The key areas of focus of this group are:
  • Different types of gage study (Gage R&R, Bias Analysis, Linearity)
  • Attribute Agreement Analysis
  • MSA Acceptance Limits
  • When to run MSAs
  • Mitigation Strategies (e.g. Guard Banding)
  • Approval of new measurement technology
